Arrive into Delhi
Welcome to Vardhman's 'Rajasthan Forts & Palace Tour'
On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Attend Sound & light show at Red Fort in the evening.
OPTIONAL TOUR: Visit to Akshardham Temple [Closed every Monday].

| Day 02: Delhi |
Morning proceed for the sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting the Raj Ghat, the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India; and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire. (Red Fort closed on Monday).
Afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar. Drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and the President's Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave.

| Day 03 : Delhi - Udaipur |
Morning transfer to Airport to connect the flight to Udaipur, on arrival check-in at Hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Udaipur, stopping first at City Palace. Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies; and the Peacock Courtyard. Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens; the Jagdish Temple; and the local folk Museum.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Enjoy Private boat ride on Lake Pichola, Mewar Sound & light show, Vintage classic car collections, Crystal gallery.

| Day 04 : Udaipur - Kumbhalgarh |
This morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Kumbhalgarh. Enroute visit Ranakpur Jain Temples. A visit to the famous Jain Temple, dating back to the 15th century. It's 29 halls are supported by 200 pillars, none of which are alike. The Temple abounds with intricate friezes and sculptures. Includes visits to two more Jain temples and the Temple of the Sun God with its erotic sculptures. Kumbhalgrh Fort (alt 1,087 m) was the second most important fort of the Mewar Kingdom after Chittaurgarh. Built mostly by Maharana Kumba (1485), it is situated on a West facing ridge of the Aravallis, commanding a great strategic position on the border between the Rajput Kingdoms of Udaipur (Mewar) and Jodhpur (Marwar).

| Day 05: Kumbhalgarh - Manwar |
After breakfast visit Kumbhalgarh Fort & then drive straight to Manwar, Enroute visit Jodhpur - gateway to the desert beyond, home of the Rathors of Marwar. Visit the Fort, rising up a hilly scarp, built on the advice of a hermit, which overlooks the city in the image of a long sentinel. Inside the Fort are a number of palaces added by successive rulers.
On arrival check-in at hotel. Manwar, this picturesque getaway is situated 110kms. from Jodhpur-the beginning of Thar Desert. Manwar Desert Resort & Camp: It is set amidst sand dunes to befit the atmosphere. The Camp offers Swiss cottage tents well furnished with attached WC & Shower. The camp is very well located, in the desert. It serves very good continental and Indian cuisine. The dinner is accompanied by traditional folk dance performance.
OPTIONAL TOUR : Enjoy Jeep safari to nearby Villages to see the village life. Enjoy 02 hours camel ride to the desert to view sunset.

| Day 06 : Manwar - Jaisalmer |
Morning drive to Jaisalmer, on arrival check-in at Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

| Day 07 : Jaisalmer |
Morning sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli and Gadhi Sagar Tank. In the evening visit Khuri Sand dunes situated just 40 km off the town.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Enjoy short camel ride to Khuri Sand dunes.

| Day 08 : Jaisalmer - Bikaner |
Morning drive to Bikaner. On arrival Check-In at hotel. Rest of the day at your own pace.

| Day 09 : Bikaner - Mandawa |
On day 9 of your tour proceed for the sightseeing of Bikaner, this desert town in the north of the state was founded in 1488 by Rao Bikaji, a descendant of the founder of Jodhpur, Jodhaji. Visit the Junagarh Fort constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar's army. Also visit Camel Breeding farm (closed on Sundays).later drive to Mandawa.

| Day 10 : Mandawa - Jaipur |
Morning sightseeing of Mandawa which lies in the heart of Shekhawati. A painted arched gateway adorned with lord krishna and his cows leeds to the bazaar. You can wander through the streets where mansions of rich merchants are adorned with elaborate frescoes. Later drive to Jaipur.On arrival check-in at Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure.

| Day 11 : Jaipur |
Morning excursion to Amber Fort. Make your ascent to the palace fortress on the gaily caparisoned elephant back. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for the excellence of their design and decoration. Afternoon tour of Jaipur, known as "The Pink City of Rajasthan". Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in the 1700's, yet even today still looks futuristic or almost surrealistic; the City Palace and its Museum, the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Enjoy Elephant Safari to the Amer/Amber Fort.
OPTIONAL TOUR: Visit to Choki Dhani Village - An Ethnic village resort in the evening.

| Day 12 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra |
Morning drive to Agra. Enroute visit Fateh Pur Sikri Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted, red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. It was a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are still in pristine condition. It's not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world.
On arrival check In hotel for overnight rest.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Attend Taj-e-Mohhobat Show

| Day 13 : Agra - Delhi |
| Morning proceed for the sightseeing visiting the impressive Agra Fort and the most perfect architectural monument in the world - The Taj Mahal (closed on every Friday). Taj Mahal - the mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved spouse of Shah Jahan, who died in 1630. The building, often styled "a dream in marble" is said to have taken at least 22 years (1631-1653) to build. Agra Fort - which lies on the bend of the River Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town.
Later drive to Delhi and transfer to Delhi International Airport to board the flight for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable memories of Journey to India escorted by Vardhman Vacations
